Dazzle Ships is written by the Strategy team at OMD UK.
We are Toby Roberts, Alex Ebdon, Ben Johnson, Stephen Stokes & Sam d'Amato.
The stuff we write about is stuff that interests us, and is our opinion on things that are going on in our world. It is not the opinion of OMD.
A word on the name :
Dazzle Ships were camouflaged ships painted in cubist patterns. Obviously it's difficult to camouflage a ship, but the idea was to disrupt perspective, making them harder to torpedo.
We liked the disrupting perspective thing.
They also look very cool.
And, just in case that's not enough, it's also the title of an album by (the other) OMD.
