As tradition dictates, I watched a lot of telly over Christmas.
So I can tell you what DFS stands for (knowledge that is clearly taking up space in my brain that could be best used for something, anything, else).
I also got pretty fed up with the aggregators ("My supermarket's offering me car insurance. I'm confused". Why? Why are you confused? What is confusing about a supermarket offering car insurance? Quantum mechanics is confusing. Neuro-science is confusing. Car insurance isn't.)
Anyway, then this came on and it made me smile.
Nice one to the agency (VCCP) who came up with it. And nice one to the client who bought it.
And nice one to Alexsandr Orlov, who really does let you Compare the Meerkat, has over 2,000 friends on Facebook and is regularly tweeting.
In an undifferentiated and highly competitive market, let's hope this drives the business. It deserves to.
